This research develops a method to optimize sensor placement for monitoring noise in oil pump units, indicating improved monitoring accuracy.
This paper combines theoretical research with experimental verification to develop an approach for determining the best position for sensors to monitor the acoustic properties of oil pump units, using the ZA150‐4400 oil pump unit as a specific example. The optimal arrangement of classified noise detection points aims to scientifically represent the acoustic characteristics of two noise source types in the oil pump device. Two models are proposed: one is a multiple independent single-frequency wave aliasing point noise source model based on classified operating noise near-field measurements and the other is a multiple independent single-frequency wave aliasing point-line mixed noise source model based on the same measurements. Through experimental validation, four optimal data acquisition points are selected for collection and analysis of four different types of classified operating noise. This work provides a theoretical reference to reduce the randomness of the layout of data acquisition points and the uncertainty of noise acquisition.
