Cohort study examines lymphoma risk with dupilumab in asthma, urging careful interpretation of findings.
Extract We read with interest the recent article by Ma et al. [1], which investigated the association between dupilumab and lymphoma risk in asthma using a population-based cohort study. The authors should be commended for applying a large US dataset and a target trial emulation framework to address an important question in pharmacovigilance of biologic therapies. However, we urge caution in interpreting the findings, particularly the reported increased risk of lymphoma among patients treated with dupilumab.
