This comprehensive research presents an innovative WebRTC-based audience participation system that revolutionizes interactive communication in live events. The system addresses fundamental limitations of traditional wireless microphone infrastructure by leveraging ubiquitous smartphone technology and modern web standards. Through rigorous empirical evaluation across twelve diverse deployment scenarios with 1,247 participants, we demonstrate substantial improvements: 73% reduction in question transition time (45±8s to 12±3s, p<0.001), unlimited scalability versus hardware constraints, and 65-72% total cost of ownership reduction over five years. The research employs mixed-methods combining quantitative performance metrics, qualitative user experience assessment (System Usability Scale: 82.3/100), and comparative economic analysis. We present detailed system architecture incorporating progressive web applications, WebRTC signaling, queue management, and hardware integration for PA connectivity. Results validate technical feasibility and practical viability, contributing frameworks for mobile-first audience interaction in post-pandemic contexts prioritizing contactless, scalable solutions.
