Key Points

  • This work aims to establish a terminology framework for somatic externalization in AI interactions.
  • Introduced the concept of somatic externalization.
  • Described the process of converting bodily knowledge into language.
  • Outlined the importance of engaging with non-embodied interlocutors.
  • Identified key intersections with embodied cognition and tacit knowledge theory.
  • Asserted the relevance of knowledge conversion models.

Abstract

Priority registration for the concept of Somatic Externalization within the AUGMANITAI framework (Ehstand 2025–2026). Somatic Externalization designates the systematic process of rendering pre-verbal, body-anchored knowledge into linguistically accessible form through structured dialogue with non-embodied interlocutors. This abstract establishes terminological priority at the intersection of embodied cognition, tacit knowledge theory, and knowledge conversion models. Full definitions and term inventories are maintained in the unpublished AUGMANITAI Compendium. ISO 704 / ISO 1087 / ISO 30042 compliant.
