The actual research work is focused on the synthesis of some dichalcogen-bridged with sulphur atoms related to naphthalene and biphenyl such compounds are known as naphthalenophene, 6,6'-tetrathia-dichalcogen of biphenyl and their derivatives. The 1,8-dithia-chalcolegen-2,7-dimethyl-naphthalene and the 1,8,4,5-tetrathia-dichalcogen-bridged were prepared successfully from the reaction of naphthalene and biphenyl derivatives with sodium sulphide in ethanol, such these compounds are known for their aromaticity and stability. It is widely used in the production of dyes, plastics, and insecticides due to its chemical reactivity and robust structure, furthermore, these compounds are known to form charge-transfer complexes and radical cation salts.
