RETRACTION: Environmentally Friendly Green Approach for the Fabrication of Silver Oxide Nanoparticles: Characterization and Diverse Biomedical Applications.

Following publication, concerns were raised by a third party regarding duplications in the spectra in Figures 2 and 3. Concerns of duplication were also raised for panels C and D in Figure 4, which were investigated and confirmed by the publisher. Additionally, panels B, C, and F of Figure 4 were duplicated from, or reused in, various figures in other articles by some of the same authors (Israeel et al. 2024 https://doi.org/10.1038/s41598-024-79953-4; Iqbal et al. 2020 https://doi.org/10.3390/biomedicines8050117; Abbasi et al. 2019 https://doi.org/10.3390/biom10010038; Abbasi et al. 2020 https://doi.org/10.1088/2053-1591/ab664d; Naveed et al. 2023 https://doi.org/10.1021/acsomega.2c04841). Due to the extent of these concerns, the editors have lost confidence in the results reported, and therefore the article must be retracted.
