  • Constructed a new identity involving four distinct points.
  • Derived Newton-Cotes type inequalities based on the new identity.
  • Utilized Riemann-Liouville fractional integrals for the derivations.
  • Provided examples and applications to illustrate the findings.
  • Established several new Newton-Cotes type inequalities for $s$-convex functions.
  • Showed the effectiveness of the inequalities through illustrative examples.

Abstract

In this paper, we construct a novel identity involving four distinct points. Based on this identity, we derive several Newton-Cotes type inequalities for functions whose first derivatives are s-convex in the second sense, utilizing Riemann-Liouville fractional integrals. Furthermore, we provide illustrative applications and examples to demonstrate the effectiveness and relevance of the obtained results.
