The Sahel region faces significant climate variability and change, impacting human security through exacerbated food insecurity, water scarcity, and disease prevalence. Theoretical synthesis and qualitative thematic analysis will be employed to explore existing literature on climate change impacts and human security in the region. A theoretical framework is established to guide future research and policy interventions aimed at enhancing resilience against climate change impacts on human security. Policy makers should prioritise early warning systems for droughts, support sustainable agriculture practices, and strengthen community health services in vulnerable regions.
