Comparative analysis of ASL MRI with FLAIR, DWI, and EEG for seizure detection.
ASL is a useful adjunct MRI sequence that demonstrates temporary cerebral hemodynamic alterations in acute seizures. It can accurately predict and delineate the epileptogenic zone with high diagnostic accuracy and EEG concordance compared to FLAIR and DWI. FLAIR sequence spatially correlates with ASL better than DWI.
