This study examines comparative business practices across different regions of Namibia in Africa, focusing on the period from to . A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining qualitative interviews with quantitative data analysis of business records from selected regions. Case studies were conducted to provide detailed insights into local business environments. Significant differences in business ethics were observed between urban and rural areas, particularly regarding environmental sustainability practices and community engagement initiatives. The study concludes that regional context significantly impacts business practices in Namibia, with urban regions generally adopting more advanced ethical standards compared to rural settings. This has implications for policy development aimed at fostering equitable economic growth across the country. Policy recommendations include enhancing environmental education programmes and encouraging greater community involvement in corporate social responsibility initiatives, particularly in rural areas where such practices are less prevalent.
