Mixed-methods assessment demonstrates improved reliability in community health centres, suggesting effective operational strategies.
Community health centres in Ghana face challenges in service delivery due to varying system reliabilities. A mixed-methods approach combining quantitative (panel data) and qualitative insights was employed to assess system performance across different regions in Ghana. Panel data were collected from multiple years using standardised surveys and observational studies. Panel data analysis revealed that the average reliability score of health centres increased by 15% over five years, indicating a positive trend towards more consistent service delivery. The study supports the effectiveness of systematic improvements in community health centre operations, which can be replicated to enhance healthcare services nationwide. Policy makers should prioritise funding and training for frontline staff to maintain high reliability levels and ensure sustained improvement in public health outcomes. Treatment effect was estimated with logit(pᵢ)=β₀+β^ Xᵢ, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
