Quasi-experimental analysis measures effectiveness of community health centres in reducing health risks, suggesting significant health improvements.
Community health centers in Senegal have been established to address healthcare needs in underserved areas. However, their effectiveness and impact on public health outcomes remain underexplored. The review employed comprehensive search strategies across PubMed, Web of Science, and Google Scholar databases. Studies published between and were considered. Inclusion criteria included quasi-experimental designs targeting risk reduction measures within community health centers systems. A total of 67 studies met the inclusion criteria, focusing on various aspects such as vaccination programmes and nutrition interventions. The majority showed a significant reduction in infectious diseases prevalence (p < 0.05). Quasi-experimental designs have proven effective for assessing the impact of community health centre systems on reducing health risks. Further robust quasi-experimental studies should be conducted to validate findings and explore potential scalability across different regions in Senegal. Treatment effect was estimated with logit(pᵢ)=β₀+β^ Xᵢ, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
