Geological analysis finds gold mineralization in the Yenisei Ridge, indicating favorable conditions for ore formation.
Conditions of the Yenisei Ridge of sulfide-quartz gold mineralization in metamorphic series have been considered. Deposits and occurences of gold are associated with the rock fields developed under boundary conditions of polymetamorphism (facies and subfacies boundaries). The compression zones characterized by a sharp change in fluid regime PT-conditions of metamorphism at small distances are the most favorable for deposit formation. These resulted in numerous mineral associations in host rocks and quartz veins. A mechanism of formation of quartz-vein zones in phyllites and crystalline schists is under discussion. The widely developed and contrast redistribution of gold in rock-forming minerals gives evidence of high mobility of the element during metamorphism leading to the formation of ore concentration.
