Demonstrates enhanced lanthanide emission in a solution by modifying ligand environments, suggesting significant improvements in photoluminescence properties.
To expand inorganic aggregation-induced emission systems, we demonstrate a universal solution-phase strategy for lanthanide(III) ions (Tb³⁺, Sm³⁺ and Dy³⁺) via electronic-vibrational decoupling: concentration-driven ligand-sphere reorganization and solvent deuteration suppress multiphonon quenching, boosting the Ln³⁺ emission intensity, lifetime, and photoluminescence quantum yield.
