Aims: This study aimed to evaluate the prognostic performance of the age–male–albumin–bilirubin–platelet (aMAP) score in predicting 28-day mortality among patients with acute pancreatitis (AP) presenting to the emergency department (ED).Methods: We retrospectively analyzed adult patients diagnosed with AP between January 2020 and December 2024 in a tertiary ED. Demographic characteristics, laboratory findings, clinical parameters, and mortality outcomes were recorded. aMAP scores were calculated using a validated formula.
