Plant phenology describes the seasonal cycle of plant activity and is a key indicator of ecosystem functioning. The Open and FAIR Integrated Phenology Monitoring System project develops an open-protocol phenological camera (phenocam) and a FAIR-compliant processing platform to modernize phenology monitoring and improve interoperability and accessibility . The project supports the evolution of the European phenocam network and promotes open hardware/software and reusable workflows, with integration paths towards research infrastructures and services.
