Abstract Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) has emerged as a critical framework for promoting equitable development and social justice. This study examines the significance of GESI in addressing systemic inequalities faced by marginalized groups based on gender, caste, class, disability, and socio-economic status. It explores how inclusive policies and gender-sensitive interventions contribute to improved access to education, employment, healthcare, and decision-making processes. The paper highlights the role of institutions, governance mechanisms, and community participation in fostering inclusive growth. Through a review of existing literature and policy initiatives, the study underscores the need for integrated approaches that move beyond mere representation toward meaningful empowerment. The findings suggest that mainstreaming GESI principles is essential for achieving sustainable development and ensuring that no individual or group is left behind.
