Purpose Exercise-induced hemolysis has been reported to occur during intense physical exercises such as marathon. However, it is uncertain to occur during other sports with physical contact. Therefore, we performed to examine whether serum iron concentration increases after regular Judo exercise, and if so, whether such iron increase after exercise is associated with hemolysis.
Fukushima et al. (Thu,) studied this question.
