Abstract

The schematic shows hydrothermal synthesis of Co 3 O 4 nanocubes followed by Ni 2+ adsorption on their surface. H 2 /Ar reduction at 180 °C converts adsorbed Ni 2+ into atomically dispersed Ni single atoms, with various repeated cycles tuning Ni loading.
