Abstract

The shift toward sustainable transportation has increased the demand for electric bikes in India. This study examines consumer preferences and satisfaction levels regarding e-bikes in Tirunelveli City, based on primary data from forty respondents. Findings indicate that ease of driving, low operating cost, eco-friendliness, and attractive design are key factors influencing purchase decisions. Customer satisfaction is strongly associated with product price, appearance, mileage, and performance. The study suggests improving battery efficiency, enhancing service support, and expanding charging infrastructure to strengthen market adoption. Overall, e-bikes present a cost-effective and environmentally responsible mobility alternative.
