Laparoscopic-assisted vaginal hysterectomy versus total laparoscopic hysterectomy in endometrial cancer: A retrospective cohort study
Puntos clave
Laparoscopic-supported surgical methods yield lower blood loss in endometrial cancer treatment when using total laparoscopic hysterectomy.
Blood loss reduction suggests enhanced safety for total laparoscopic hysterectomy compared to laparoscopic-assisted vaginal hysterectomy.
Observational analysis of surgical outcomes in early-stage endometrial cancer provides insights on technique efficacy.
Findings support total laparoscopic hysterectomy as a viable option; however, further investigation could enhance surgical protocols.
Resumen
TLH-based LSS in early-stage EC appears a safe approach, offering reduced blood loss without compromising perioperative or oncologic outcomes compared with LAVH-based LSS.
