Key Points

  • The Taiwan Registry of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy focuses on clinical and imaging data, targeting hypertrophic cardiomyopathy cases.
  • Aims to identify predictors of left ventricular hypertrophy and key clinical events in Taiwanese patients with distinct genetic backgrounds.

Structured PICO

P
Population
Patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), Fabry disease (FD), transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM), and unexplained left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) in Taiwan

The THIC registry is designed to collect comprehensive clinical and imaging data to better understand the presentations, long-term consequences, and predictors of clinical events in Taiwanese patients with HCM, FD, and ATTR-CM.

Abstract

The THIC will contain comprehensive clinical and imaging data of patients with HCM, FD and ATTR-CM in Taiwan, and provide an opportunity to extend our knowledge on the clinical presentations and long-term consequences of these disease entities. It will aid in understanding patients with unexplained LVH in the context of the genetic background of Taiwanese patients, and in identifying predictors of LVH and important clinical events.
