On Hecke and asymptotic categories for a family of complex reflection groups

View Full Paper
PVPedro Dos Santos Santana Forte Vaz

Key Points

  • Hecke algebras and asymptotic categories are constructed based on the complex reflection group G(M,M,N).
  • This generalization expands the existing framework established by dihedral groups, illustrating new algebraic structures.
  • The framework relies on group theory principles to analyze relationships between algebraic entities.
  • The findings may influence further studies in representation theory and its applications in mathematics.

Abstract

Generalizing the dihedral picture for G(M,M,2), we construct Hecke algebras (and categories) and asymptotic counterparts. We think of these as associated with the complex reflection group G(M,M,N).
