Novel framework integrates multiple theories to predict the emergence of spacetime geometries from quantum states.
We present a novel unified theoretical framework that combines Melvin Vopson’s infodynamics [1,2], Wojciech Zurek’s quantum Darwinism and environment-induced decoherence [3,4], and Roger Penrose’s gravitational objective reduction (OR) [5] into a single predictive formalism for the emergence of classical spacetime geometries from quantum superpositions. Termed the Vopson–Zurek–Penrose (VZP) framework, this synthesis identifies the selected post-collapse geometry as the configuration that simultaneously maximises negentropy (Vopson), minimises global quantumness via redundant classical records (Zurek), and maximises gravitational self-energy difference (Penrose). A mathematical protocol is derived that maps information content to effective mass density, solves for branch-specific semi-classical metrics, computes Penrose–Diósi collapse times, and optimises a composite functional to predict the realised geometry. The framework is applied to quantum computation, where it explains solution extraction as gravitationally-driven selection of minimum-information-entropy geometries. Predictions include anomalous collapse rates correlated with information entropy, cosmic-scale reduction of quantum coherence, and testable signatures in massive superpositions and quantum optimisers. Limitations, experimental protocols, and cosmological implications are briefly discussed. This work may provide the first quantitative bridge between information physics, decoherence theory, and gravitational quantum mechanics, opening new avenues for both fundamental tests and quantum-technology applications.
