An activity on the design and construction of high frequency, multicell accelerating structures is in progress at Frascati Lab using the Vacuum Brazing Technique. An alternative to the standard machining and brazing procedure is the Galvanoplastic technique of Electroforming. A study on the possibility of obtaining the same final result following this completely different technique is in progress.
