Abstract

Mobile technology has become an increasingly important tool for disseminating agricultural information in developing countries. A comprehensive search strategy was employed to identify studies published between and. Studies were screened based on predefined inclusion criteria. Mobile applications for agricultural information dissemination have shown a significant proportion (45%) of users reported enhanced crop yields, with mobile apps facilitating real-time feedback from farmers. While the reviewed studies suggest positive impacts on agricultural productivity, there is a need to address issues such as data privacy and reliability. Future research should focus on developing more robust security measures for mobile applications in agricultural settings.
