This strategy was defined by the Swiss Quantum Commission as mandated by the Swiss Confederation through the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation. It is based on discussions and contributions from the Swiss quantum community, including round-table meetings over the past 2.5 years with representatives from industry, academia and politics. This strategy was derived in the framework of the Swiss Quantum Initiative.
