This deliverable presents a comprehensive set of harmonised protocols designed to monitor the impacts of Light and Anthropogenic Noise Pollution (LNP) across diverse aquatic environments. As part of the Horizon Europe AquaPLAN project (Grant Agreement No. 101135471), this document establishes standardized methodologies to ensure data comparability across different European marine and freshwater sites. The protocols cover key biological indicators, including behavioral responses, physiological stress markers, and community-level changes in aquatic taxa ranging from invertebrates to marine mammals. By providing a unified monitoring framework, this report supports policymakers and environmental managers in assessing the effectiveness of mitigation strategies and fulfilling requirements under the EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030.
