Granulomatous nodules on the scalp after platelet-rich plasma is an uncommon and rarely encountered entity in the literature. Herein, we report the case of a young male who developed firm subcutaneous nodules all along the anterior hairline and vertex after platelet-rich plasma injections. The presence of noncaseating epithelioid cell granulomas on histopathology, which were reticulin-rich along with no evidence of infection on culture or special staining, favored the likely diagnosis of sarcoidal granulomatous tissue reaction.
