Youth entrepreneurship in Lagos, Nigeria faces significant challenges related to access to resources and support networks. The study employed a mixed-methods approach combining qualitative interviews with quantitative data analysis of YESN activities and outcomes. A notable theme emerged regarding the impact of mentorship programmes, particularly on reducing startup failure rates by 40% compared to non-participants. YESNs significantly enhance job creation among young entrepreneurs in Lagos, with a particular emphasis on mentoring as an effective strategy. Policy makers should prioritise investment in mentorship and capacity-building programmes within YESNs to further boost their impact.
