This research demonstrates enhanced hydrogen production in an integrated photoanode, indicating improved efficiency for renewable energy applications.
Photoelectrochemical Hydrogen Production In their Research Article (10.1002/adsu.202500741), Su-Il In and co-workers present TiO2/Mn-CdS/ZnS/CoPi photoanode as an integrated and durable architecture for photoelectrochemical water splitting. The Mn-doped CdS extends visible-light harvesting, ZnS passivation mitigates photocorrosion, and CoPi accelerates the oxygen evolution reaction. Synergistic charge separation and interfacial stability enable enhanced photocurrent under illumination.
