We investigate a toy model in which flavor mixing emerges fromresonant field structures generated during a collision of two nearly symmetric branes. The interaction produces a spatial resonance field whoseenergy density defines an effective operator. The eigenmodes of thisoperator correspond to particle families, while the overlap of modesbetween the two brane sectors generates a mixing matrix analogous tothe CKM matrix of the Standard Model.Numerical simulations demonstrate that CKM-like structures emergerobustly from simple resonance dynamics with only a small asymmetrybetween the two branes.
