Abstract In recent years, college students have been experiencing increasing levels of academic stress, psychological pressure, and lifestyle-related health problems. These challenges negatively influence their mental well-being, concentration and academic performance. Mindfulness-based physical activity (MBPA) has emerged as an effective holistic approach that integrates physical movement with mental awareness and controlled breathing. The present paper aims to examine the role of mindfulness-based physical activity in enhancing psychological well-being and academic performance among college students. The study is based on a review of relevant literature, theoretical perspectives and practical applications within the field of physical education. Findings from previous studies suggest that mindfulness-based physical activity significantly reduces stress, improves attention, emotional regulation and cognitive functioning. These psychological benefits contribute positively to academic engagement and performance. The paper concludes that incorporating mindfulness-based physical activity into college physical education programs can serve as a sustainable strategy for achieving and maintaining multidimensional health parameters.
