Key Points

  • To assess the patient-reported outcomes associated with cemiplimab compared to chemotherapy in advanced non-small cell lung cancer.
  • Reviewed existing data from EMPOWER-Lung 1 trial
  • Compared first-line cemiplimab monotherapy with chemotherapy
  • Analyzed outcomes across various patient subpopulations
  • Cemiplimab showed a better global health status/quality of life benefit compared to chemotherapy
  • Benefits were consistent in multiple patient subpopulations
  • Enhanced results noted in patients with high programmed cell death-ligand 1 expression

Abstract

Collectively, the current data support the GHS/QoL benefit of first-line cemiplimab monotherapy versus chemotherapy overall and in multiple subpopulations of patients with programmed cell death-ligand 1 expression ≥50% advanced non-small cell lung cancer.
