Effect of Balance Enhanced Exercise Program (BEEP) on Balance, Balance Confidence, and Nerve Conduction Velocity in Patients with Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy
To determine the effects of BEEP on balance, balance confidence, and nerve conduction velocity in patients with Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy.
Participants with DPN underwent the Balance Enhanced Exercise Program (BEEP).
Assessment of their balance, balance confidence, and nerve conduction velocity was conducted pre- and post-intervention.
BEEP significantly improved balance in participants.
Improvements were observed in balance confidence and nerve conduction velocity.
Abstract
BEEP has a significant effect on balance, balance confidence, and nerve conduction velocity in patients with DPN. Hence, it can be implemented in the treatment of DPN.
