This framework investigates how new digital consumption formats influence regional economies, suggesting targeted economic policies.
This paper constructs a theoretical framework to investigate how new digital consumption formats influence regional economies through three transmission paths: consumption equalization, industrial adaptability, and factor spillover. This framework analyzes the heterogeneous impacts arising from regional differences in infrastructure, human capital, and industrial structure. This framework posits that digital consumption effectively drives high-quality growth only when integrated with industrial adaptability, providing a theoretical basis for differentiated digital economic policies aimed at bridging the digital divide and promoting common prosperity.
