Case report finds no disease recurrence after radical orchiectomy for a testicular tumor in a young man, suggesting favorable outcomes.
Testicular granulosa cell tumors are extremely rare types of sex-cord stromal neoplasms. Here we report a 22-year-old man who presented with one month of progressive swelling in his right testis and discomfort. Physical examination revealed a solid mass on the right testicle. The patient underwent right radical inguinal orchiectomy. The histopathological diagnosis supported by immunohistochemical staining confirmed that the specimen represented an adult-type granulosa cell tumor. At 12 months post-orchiectomy, there was no evidence of disease recurrence.
