This research investigates effective grass combinations for restoring salinized meadows, indicating potential ecological benefits.
In order to clarify reseeding grass combinations appropriate for restoration of salinized meadows and their restoration performances, screening of reseeding grass and reseeding using different grass combinations were conducted on the basis of the investigation of original habitat vegetation in a local degraded salinized meadow in ethnic minority region western in China. Researchers looked into what happens when you reseed with different combinations of grasses and how that changes the species composition, functional group characteristics, community features, and communities. They also talked about what kinds of grasses are best for restoring salinized meadows and how artificial reseeding can help restore degraded grassland ecosystems.
