This model enhances language proficiency and thinking skills in application-oriented universities, suggesting a modern assessment approach.
This paper proposes a Four-dimensional synergistic assessment model for foreign language teaching, aiming to reform the traditional assessment system of application-oriented universities. Guided by dynamic assessment theory, with formative assessment as the path and intelligent technology as the tool, the model constructs an assessment system from four dimensions: learning, thinking, application and synergy, and pushes the assessment to shift from the diagnostic evaluation to the development support for learners. This model promotes students' language proficiency and higher-order thinking in a more comprehensive, contextualized and personalized way, and provides theoretical and practical references for the reform of foreign language teaching in the digital intelligence era.
