Mental health services in conflict-struck youth shelters have become increasingly important for addressing the psychological distress of young people affected by violence and trauma. A systematic literature review was conducted using databases such as PubMed and Google Scholar to identify relevant studies published between and. Findings suggest that the proportion of youth accessing mental health services in these shelters is significantly lower (around 20%) compared to need, indicating substantial unmet demand. Despite efforts by local NGOs and government initiatives, there are notable disparities in service provision across different shelters. Expanding mental health training for shelter staff and integrating teletherapy options could enhance service accessibility and effectiveness. Treatment effect was estimated with logit (pᵢ) =₀+^ Xᵢ, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
