The present research was an effort to study the level of Job involvement and Workplace insecurity among unmarried school teachers of Patna district. It was attempted to find out the difference between male and female unmarried school teachers on the measures of job involvement and workplace insecurity. 80 teachers have been selected as the sample for this study. Among them, 40 were male teachers and 40 were female teachers. They were working in different schools as teachers. Job Involvement Scale by by Ashok Pratap Singh (1989) and Job security scale by Lahey and Kuhnert's (1988) were administered on the subjects. Results have shown that job involvement was high among the male teachers and female teachers were in high insecurity for their jobs.
