This document is a short technical note on minor-element minerals found at the Beryl Pit, near Quadeville, Lyndoch Township, Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada. Minerals described and discussed below are: euxenite-(Y), fersmite(?), “lyndochite”, allanite-(Ce), zircon, and beryl. Commercial XRF analyses were employed to identify and characterise several of the specimens. Some of these identities are only tentative, given the limitations in quantitative and spatial resolutions of XRF analyses. This article has not undergone peer-review, and should be regarded as preliminary.
