Identifies strategies to enhance dance sports engagement in Generation Z, suggesting educational links are vital.
This study aims to identify and prioritize strategies for revitalizing dance sports among Generation Z using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). As a culturally and economically influential cohort, Generation Z plays a significant role in shaping contemporary sports participation trends; however, dance sports have yet to fully engage their interest. To address this gap, the study constructed a hierarchical framework comprising four main criteria—Promotion and Marketing Enhancement, Educational Infrastructure Development, Program Competitiveness Enhancement, and Cultural Content Exchange and Dissemination—and their respective sub-factors. Expert evaluations and AHP analysis revealed that Educational Infrastructure Development holds the highest priority, with Strengthening Linkages with Educational Institutions identified as the most critical sub-factor. These findings highlight the need to embed dance sports within educational settings to foster active participation among Generation Z. The study offers a structured prioritization of revitalization strategies, contributing to the effective promotion and sustainable growth of dance sports.
