Abstract

Côte d'Ivoire's GDP has been significantly influenced by its informal economy, which often operates outside formal regulatory frameworks. A qualitative analysis of existing literature on the informal sector in Côte d'Ivoire, focusing on recent government initiatives and private sector practices. Enhancing governance frameworks for the informal sector can unlock substantial economic potential and support inclusive growth in Côte d'Ivoire. Implementing targeted tax reforms and strengthening social protection programmes for informal workers are recommended to facilitate smoother integration into formal economy structures.
