This analysis finds alternative expressions for number theory functions using Fourier series and Z-transform, suggesting new approaches for research.
Utilising the difference between certain discontinuous functions and theirFourier series in the points of discontinuity, this paper presents alternativeexpressions for some important functions in number theory. Similar results arepresented for other number theory functions where the results are achieved bythe means of the Z-transform. Also, the usage of such expressions for thepurpose of asymptotic analysis is discussed.
