In this study, histotripsy was shown to effectively target blood clots in catheters, suggesting a new approach for thrombectomy procedures.
Collectively, these results support the feasibility of performing histotripsy on clots situated within an HCT compatible with mounting in the tip of an aspiration format catheter.
