A new species of wild‐kiwi, belonging to the genus Actinidia Lindl. (Actinidiaceae), has been discovered from the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh in the Eastern Himalayas. This new species is described and illustrated herein and supplemented by colored field photographs to facilitate accurate identification.
