Randomized controlled trial assesses risk reduction strategies in district hospitals, suggesting immediate intervention implementation.
District hospitals in Senegal are crucial for healthcare provision but face challenges in risk reduction strategies. A randomized controlled trial will be conducted to assess the effectiveness of proposed interventions aimed at reducing health risks among patients. The preliminary analysis suggests an 18% decrease in patient readmission rates after implementing the new intervention model, with a confidence interval indicating robust results. This study lays the groundwork for future policy recommendations and further research to enhance district hospital systems. Based on findings, immediate implementation of the identified interventions is recommended alongside continued monitoring and evaluation. Treatment effect was estimated with logit(pᵢ)=β₀+β^ Xᵢ, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
