An independent researcher with no institutional affiliation, no funding, and no laboratory proposes a unified biological mechanism that simultaneously explains three of the most poorly understood events in Earth history: the Great Unconformity, the Huronian Glaciation, and the Great Oxygenation Event. The central argument is that rainfall did not exist before the Great Oxygenation Event. When oxygen appeared approximately 2.45 billion years ago, rain began for the first time. That rain fell through an atmosphere saturated with volcanic sulfur dioxide — with no alkaline buffering, no carbonate soils, and no ozone layer to neutralize it. The result was global sulfuric acid rain that dissolved the rock record, producing the Great Unconformity. The paper additionally proposes that silicon-sulfur based life existed on Earth between 3.5 and 1.5 billion years ago, originating on the Vaalbara supercontinent and spreading globally via plate tectonic conveyance. Analysis of the global MIF-S dataset reveals a spreading pattern consistent with this origin. The asynchronous collapse of the MIF-S signal across continents — documented in published literature with no consensus explanation — is reinterpreted as geographic variation in biological extinction timing.Full mathematical analysis is provided with all assumptions stated explicitly and sourced to published literature. Seven analytical tests are proposed. Physical specimens from Ontario, Canada are available upon written agreement.Contact: rockspetrified@gmail.com
