Qualitative research explores psychosocial models for youth trafficking reintegration, highlighting the need for integrated care strategies.
Addis Ababa is a city in Ethiopia where trafficking of youth occurs frequently, necessitating comprehensive psychosocial support models for their reintegration. This article employs qualitative research methods to explore existing literature and expert opinions on psychosocial support for trafficked youth. It does not include empirical results from field studies or longitudinal data analysis. The theoretical framework underscores the necessity for holistic psychosocial support models to address the complex needs of trafficked youth in Addis Ababa. It highlights the need for integrated care strategies that foster sustainable social and economic empowerment. Policy makers should advocate for comprehensive, multi-sectoral interventions focused on early intervention, continuous support, and community-based rehabilitation programmes for reintegration efforts.
